Adventures Around HK

This day was strange, it started at meeting at Amrildiy MTR station at 10.30 but due to adverse weather we decided to change our plan, so we didnt go to oceanpark, instead we headed to EXPLORE HK we stared with a short trip to Hong Kong Park! then Headed to see the talest building in Hong Kong! the TWO IFC the worlds 6th Tallest Building.

This image was a dare! to get a oic with a cop with a gun! Shu-mans crazy!

It was a mission getting there, we all just looked for the tallest building and went in that direction. simple as that and after a while we arrived! It has a large shopping mall on the first 4 floors and the others a business floor that are out of bounds! thats if you dont know that you acculy are allowed to the 55th floor. i knew his after reading about the building but noboady know about this. so we asked the reception and indessd we were givien Passes and granted access to the 55th floor the highest part of HK the public can access in central.

It was nice and we felt on top of the world (Hong Kong really) the after we had lucnh and decided the next tourest destanation. Hummm, ok the star ferry to Kowloon then a bus to the most famous temple in HK to get our fourtunes read!

We arrived and and got our fortunes read, and there were perfectly correct and its hard to belive how perfect they were. its difficult to understand how such good pridictions can be made on just chance.

after that us guys had dinner, and headed to a Net Cafe as its a real Asain experiance i must experiance! its like a club for geeks! so interesting, its here where most the youth of asia spend there time! its cost like only $20 for 4hrs! and its gives you access to a million games and computerfacilitys, its amazing i accualy manages to to complet our 4hrs ( im a Quake Online addict) which took us to 11.57pm so we had to leave as the KCR would stop and i would have to get a cab.

thats was the day of crazyness. i have no time for days like these, as fun as they are i have to prepare for leaving as i have stuff but its not moving.

Foshan China Mainland Trip!

Day 1
Soon after writing the last post we went to meet JiaJie’s grand parents as we were invited to dinner. We took a cab there, not far but it’s hot to walk. I was warmly welcomed into the family home and met JJ’s family. There all so friendly and I really like them all.
JJ’s grand parants home is in a traditional stlye home in the city, very attractive like a hill top home in italy. But with a modern inside.

Later JJ’s father took us back home, then jj took me on his motorcycle to cruise the city so cool, we went to a the mall with the giant ball on the top. Was kool bought my new eyes for looking cool. Then had drinks in the square chilling. All so cool, after we decided to go for a massage as we had a long day. It was a Chinese medicine style massage so very proper (not like HK) so relaxing. After we headed back crusing on the motorcycle for a sleep as we still needed to get up early as we were invited for lunch tea by JJ’s grand parents.

Day 2
Family day,

Ahhhhh so nice sleep, a real bed in a real room with real air con. LOVE IT! Over six months in student halls in asia is a little to long for liking.

We met his grand parants in a tea restrant in the centre, where we had a very traditional style Chinese style food eg dim sum and fish etc. very nice and very appreciated as it was organized specially for us. So nice people.

During tea JJ’s cousin Kwon joined us on his lunch brake from school, after we had lunch we left together with kwon and jj took me to the famous temple in Foshan, where the world renowned marsal arts expert is from. This guy was supposed to be really good, he even was the master of legend Bruce Lee.

After such a kool experience, we had drinks then headed back to jj’s to get ready and to meet jj’s parants to take us to the giant family gathering at a gaint restrant where a privert room was booked specialy for this gathering. It was quite amazing, so many new peoples, I was’nt shy at all, meeting and greeting peoples, most people said wow so handsome, that’s what made me a little embarrassed. I met so many peeps there, even JJ’s young mates and cousin’s half from England aswell so can talk English.

Us guy chatted and managed to organise a family outing for the next day! After the the dinner us guy decided to go prawn fishing! Yeah really prawn fishing! So cool! We headed out in leo’s car and he took us to a prawn catching place. So traditional and amazingly cool experience. Just chilling around the pool, catching the most gaint prawns ever that scared me so much as there so amazing with arms and claws! Taking them of the hooks was a joke in itself, the prawns will use there claws to bite you when you go near the them so you have to brake there arms off first then take the hook out there mouth, very funny when it moves as I chuck the dame thing! After we caught loads (I caught over ten! The most I think) we take them to BBQ them so fresh! Then again more relaxing and chilling. Catch and BBQ prawns is some really amazing activity that you just cant do in England!

Day 3
White Water Rafting in the Chinese Mountains!

Yep that’s what our activiy was! We all got up at 5.30am so very little sleep as we just got in a few hours ago! We all got ready in the JJ household, and left to meet the rest of the friends and family that will join us on this amazing outing!

We started with brakefast at a tea reastrant (dim sum etc) then we all got into are amazing posh rides and we started our adventure! And what a adventure it was!

1) Tea restrant
2) Car trip across china
3) Amazing mountains tons of waterfalls and we rafted all 4.8km of them (2hours non stop!). (lets just say if this was England no one would be allowed to ride the rapids and waterfalls. But here people have guts and everyone is doing it! It was incredible!
4) late lunch
5) Lychee picking
6) Dinner
7) Car trip back
8) Get ready for a night out!
9) Meeting Hot girls, getting pissed, Living!
10) Getting taken home Pissed!

Beach BBQ, Bikes, Games, Tai O, Dholphin Watching, Tourisum - HONG KONG RULES

Omg I need sleep!

I had to get up at 10am after being on msn till 4am so it was difficult and I had very little idea on where I was going.

I met with the really cool gang in the last MTR station on Lanta island, let me name em, Chicken, Hau Ying, Shu-man, Deskman, Kaichi. And we began are adventure……

Ok no adventure stars with out a shopping trip. Then we headed for a bus that took us all the way round to the other side of the island, the 1hr trip was bumpy but oh my the sights were truly marvellous!!!!!!!!!

We final arrived at a place that was completely bike heaven, every where you looked there were bikes! This place is a old village that tourist like so there’s many visitors here that love the beach and the environment.

We headed for are ‘Hotel’ its in quotes as its like a room for friends to hang, play games, sleep, and just chill. So interesting. In Hong Kong thay call it camping! After we freshened up we headed out and started Cooking! Litraly not just cos of the sun and the vast heat! BBQ

While the BBQ was being set up (beach front) we headed to rent some Bikes! Yeahhhh Bikes I haven’t rode a bike for sixth months so I was excited! There was vast chose, from Nice mean TREK pro bikes (really professional) $50 to very traditional classic bikes. I decided to go for a $20 doller bike! For two days! So cheap! I did this cos the TREK would be hassle and I would have to look after it. The other bike you just leave anywhere and nothing would ever happen to it.

After a cycle and a explore we settled down and had a 4hr BBQ with stakes and all! Which took us into the night! After that another cycle then Fun and games and aking in our camp house! So kool! But painful as Shuman got drunk and started attacking people. So funny one bottle of smiroff and she goes red!

Kaichi ran away in the night too meet his lova girl, but returned at 5am, we took the piss, until we had too sleep due to tommrows plan of getting up very early and heading to another village island off lanta island on the other side of the island.

We woke up at 9 to 10 and got ready and cycled over to the beach one last time then headed back and gave are bikes back then had a lunch and got the bus over to Tai O. once we arrived we did the unexpected and decided to go Dolphin Watching! So incredible Pick Dolphins!

After we explored the place had a (harrr) wich is chilling and dinner, then headed back to Hong Kong via Boat from Tai O so 1hr ish travel again, so nice as its all lush green mountains and blue sea. Very relaxing.

That was the past two days!
I wrote this 2hrs after I just arrived in china mainland Foshan, im in Jai Jie’s House and I have to say his RICH! And its gonna be a nice stay from the looks of it.
Blog later about what happends.

An unexpected day. Today I met with my classmates Chi and Daniel for exploring Aberdeen. Little did I know we gonna have two meals and a Hike!

After all the airpot stuff we were back in Hong kong by afternoon. So we all decided to go to to some place in the new terrotoried and get some food together! We had Japanese! I like Japanese food!

Then we all spilt and when our own ways! It was a really nice trip with I hope to redo some day.

Trip score: Very High!

Paradise in Hainan Day 3

We got up around 9am and had another all you can eat breakfast! To start the Day!
We chilled around our 5* hotel for a while playing games just hanging. Then we decided a nice walk across the beach would be nice so we all got out in to the amazing weather and right in front of the hotel is amazing blue sea with white sands! Its really amazing!

So we all just walked along the beach looking for sea shells and getting very wet when running into the sea! We just relaxing then after we headed back as it was time to get to even more incredible activitys!

We all got ready our man and a van came as usual and we all said we wanted to ……
GUESS!!!

SHOOTING

Yep that exactly what we did! As me and deskman are really into guns and shooting we all decided that we would try out some real GUNS! Yes REAL GUNS!

We arrived at the shooting place, like you see in the movies! Well kool!
They had a large varity of real gun to choose from! The bullet prices vary from gun to gun! I chose a selection on 5 GUNS with a total ammunition number of 10 costing $130 RMB (its like 70p - £2 a shot!)

1st) PS-01 5.6mm hand gun German nazi style
Fun accurate gun easy to handle, one bulls eye!
2nd) Sports Pistol, Mean looking!
Very sensitive, perfect bulls eye!

3rd) 7.62mm Black Revolver NICE!
Had to give it a go! Recoil force very large, in accurate but powerful! Hit two glass bottles!

4th) AK47 REAL CRAZY!
Another mental gun! Very very loud! Rubbish for shooting!

5th) DUBBLE BARRAL SHOT GUN!
The daddy of guns! Recoil force crazy! Very very powerful! Not one for weak peeps!

It was amazing and I have to say something I have also always wanted to try! Shooting real guns feeling the recoil force! Crazy stuff!

I manage to get two bulls eyes! From the military standard firing range! That’s so cool! I really am good at shooting!

After that we were all so hyped and it was BEACH time! Yeahhhh
We were taken to the best beach for swimming which was nice, and we went swimming! So nice! The water was so warm! Waves were fantastic! Truly amazing,
The waves were so large my camera got washed away, hehe, but after a few mins it was found again! we played and played and played, until we were knacked!
Time for sun bathing and photos!

Perfect day, it was early evening so we headed off and are tour guide took us to get ome local food at a Dai Pi Dong, Hainan style, it was nice and very cheap, for six of us eating many dishes it costed less then $100 crazy!

Then we were taken to a shopping area to get some souvenirs, as it was are final night we just relaxed and took in the atmosphere, then we headed back to are hotel where we just played and played until it was late! Then we decided it was time for another massarge! So we called are tour guide and he said he’ll come pick us up in 30 mins yeahhh. So it its was off the the massarge place! Yeahhh. There a thing about massarges you cant have one! You need at least 2! So this was needed!

The masseages are the best here! Really, very very intense! And as always I had the best seafoo. After that it was late so we called it a day and headed back to the hotel. Ready to leave in the morning!
